WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman John Moolenaar voted for Congressman Mike Johnson (R-LA) to serve as Speaker of the House. Johnson was elected to the role with 220 votes, beating Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who received 209 votes.
