WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) released the following statement on the announcement that Congressman John Sarbanes (MD.-03) would not seek re-election in 2024. Prior to serving in the Senate, Cardin represented Maryland's 3rd congressional district for 20 years.
