HONOLULU, Hawaii, Oct. 25 -- The Hawaii Department of Education issued the following news release:
When Lahaina Intermediate health teacher Nate Kahaiali'i signed up to run in the 2023 Chicago Marathon for the Red Cross ten months ago, he didn't realize that the race would later come with added significance.
On Aug. 8, Kahaiali'i evacuated his Lahaina home with no more than a pair of running shoes, some clothes and a few personal belongings before it was . . .
