CHICAGO, Illinois, Oct. 21 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

Two Disaster Recovery Centers are scheduled to open to the public Monday, October 23, 2023. The centers, jointly run by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State of Illinois, will be staffed by federal and state officials ready to assist survivors in their recovery from the June 29-July 2 storms and flooding.
