DENVER, Colorado, Oct. 21 -- The Denver Public Schools issued the following news on Oct. 20, 2023:
Last week, the Board of Education, DPS Leadership, and the students of Northeast Early College gathered together to celebrate the installation of a brand new solar array. The solar canopy project was a shared green initiative, led by DPS and funded by the City of Denver. The project provides the DPS High School, located in the Far Northeast, access to renewable solar energy.
