TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma, Oct. 21 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
The Cherokee Nation honored four veterans with the Medal of Patriotism during the October meeting of the Council of the Cherokee Nation.
