RALEIGH, North Carolina, Oct. 19 -- North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein issued the following news release on Oct. 18, 2023:
Attorney General Josh Stein today announced a $10 million settlement with ACI Worldwide, a payment processor company, over a 2021 testing error that led to the attempted unauthorized withdrawal of $2.3 billion from the accounts of mortgage holders.
