AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 19 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Johnny Vahalik, Ed.D. and Michelle Harper to the Texas Workforce Investment Council for terms set to expire on September 1, 2029 and September 1, 2025, respectively.
