The North Carolina Republican Party applauds the N.C. General Assembly for successfully overriding Governor Roy Cooper's vetoes of common-sense legislation to increase confidence and integrity in our elections. These bills (Senate Bill 747, Senate Bill 749) becoming law, despite the objections of the governor, is a win for the People of North Carolina.
