TUCSON, Arizona, Oct. 7 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection issued the following news release:
A Nogales Station Border Patrol agent and his K9 partner discovered more than 130 pounds of narcotics while patrolling Thursday morning near Amado, Arizona.
The K9 alerted to a trained odor around 10 a.m. while working in an area near the Interstate 19 Immigration Checkpoint. Tracing the odor, the K9 team found and seized four aband . . .
