Kevin McCarthy served our Conference and our cause admirably, from winning back the majority for the American people to negotiating the most significant deficit reduction plan in history, and we all owe him thanks. Unfortunately, eight Republicans teamed up with every Democrat to vacate the Speakership, and now House Republicans must move deliberately and with cohesio . . .
