WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Senator JD Vance (R-OH) has introduced The Passport Sanity Act, which would prohibit the Secretary of State from issuing a passport, passport card, or Consular Report of Birth Abroad that includes the unspecified "X" gender designation. It would also require the Secretary to ensure that each application for such a document includes only male and female gender designations.
