WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 -- Rep. David Trone, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Oct. 2, 2023:
Today, Congressmen David Trone and Jamie Raskin and Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen (all D-Md.) announced $530,000 in Department of Homeland Security grants in Montgomery County, MD to develop violence prevention programs focused on protecting LGBTQ+ youth.
The federal investment comes through the Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) Grant Program . . .
