WACO, Texas, Oct. 3 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
After a gritty, 31-24 win over Washington & Jefferson (Pa.), the Grove City (Pa.) Wolverines have entered the AFCA Division III Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the first time in the poll's 24-year history. Grove City comes in ranked at No. 25 and moved its record to 5-0 while taking control of the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Wolverines entered the Top 25 thanks to Wiscons . . .
