WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service issued the following news release:
The National Park Service has added 23 new listings to the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom, including its first international site. The program recognizes places and programs with verifiable connections to the Underground Railroad and the resistance to enslavement through escape or flight.
