SACRAMENTO, California, Sept. 27 -- The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office issued the following news release on Sept. 26, 2023:

The California Community Colleges Board of Governors today approved a bold new strategic framework to guide the 116-college system into the next decade with goals to increase the number of Californians participating and succeeding in higher education, with a keen focus on equitable degree attainment and enhanced socioeconomic mobility.
