WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on Sept. 21, 2023:
Today, the 64 members of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus announced its endorsement of a bipartisan framework to avoid a government shutdown.
The bipartisan framework proposes passing a continuing resolution before September 30, 2023 to fund the government at the current levels through January 11, 2024.
