SACRAMENTO, California, Sept. 23 -- The California Conservation Corps issued the following news:
Months after Typhoon Mawar--a category 4 hurricane--hit the U.S. Territory of Guam, California Conservation Corps crews from across the state assembled to led helping hands and chain saws.
After a more than 16-hour flight, the Corpsmembers from Los Angeles, Pomona, Chico, Sacramento, Redding, and Fortuna worked six days per week in hot and humid conditions.
