Wis. Natural Resources Dept. Announces Drawdown for Washington Creek Flowage

MADISON, Wisconsin, Sept. 23 -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release on Sept. 22, 2023:

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced it will be conducting a full drawdown on Washington Creek Flowage, part of the 515-acre, DNR-managed Washington Creek Wildlife Area in Rusk County.

The drop in water levels is necessary to prepare the site for upcoming construction slated for fall 2023 into early summer 2024 . . .
