Baird Applauds Announcement of New CHIPS Funding for Indiana Facility

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Rep. James Baird, R-Indiana, issued the following news release on Sept. 21, 2023:

Today, Congressman Jim Baird (IN-04) applauded the recent DoD selection of Silicon Crossroads Microelectronics Commons Hub in Bloomington and its coordinating body, The Applied Research Institute, as one of eight Microelectronics Commons regional innovations hubs under the CHIPS Act.
