WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- The National Endowment for the Humanities issued the following news release:
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has awarded $200,000 in emergency supplemental funding to NEH's state affiliate, Vermont Humanities, to assist nonprofit cultural organizations that were affected by severe flooding in the state this summer.
Beginning on July 7, Vermont experienced several weeks of severe storms that brought catastrophic rains, flash floods . . .
