WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, issued the following news release on Sept. 14, 2023:
Today, Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) voted to pass H.R. 1435, the Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act, legislation that would prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from allowing states to directly or indirectly limit the sale or use of new gas-powered cars.
