WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release:
Senators Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) and Mitt Romney (R-Utah) today introduced the Higher Wages for American Workers Act, a bill that would gradually raise the federal minimum wage to $11 by 2028 and mandate E-Verify to ensure the wage increase only goes to legal workers.
