WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 -- The General Services Administration issued the following news on Sept. 12, 2023:
Despite the modern research happening inside the old federal John A. Volpe Transportation Systems Center, the vast 1960s, industrial-like campus just didn't fit into the Kendall Square vibe of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the center needed an upgrade to better meet the needs of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
