COLUMBIA, South Carolina, Sept. 12 -- South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson issued the following news release on Sept. 11, 2023:
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced that Amber Harris, 32, of Chester, SC, was sentenced today to 60 years in prison after entering a guilty plea to Voluntary Manslaughter and Carjacking resulting in Great Bodily Injury. Judge Brian Gibbons sentenced her to 30 years on the Voluntary Manslaughter charge and 30 years on the carjacking . . .
