MOBILE, Alabama, Sept. 12 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama, Sean P. Costello, issued the following news release:

A Monroeville man received a statutory maximum sentence of 120 months in prison for illegally possessing a firearm that he used to shoot a 15-year-old victim and fire at police.
