WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow (MI) and Gary Peters (MI) today announced that several West Michigan fire departments will receive a total of $2,355,294 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The funding comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and Fire Prevention and Safety Grant programs.
