ALBANY, New York, Sept. 1 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York, Carla B. Freedman, issued the following news release on Aug. 31, 2023:
Christopher Mozone, age 36, of Albany was sentenced today to serve 41 months in prison for engaging in a fraudulent scheme to obtain a government loan meant for businesses struggling with the financial effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
