ROLLA, Missouri, Aug. 22 -- Missouri University of Science and Technology issued the following news:

Enrollment on the first day of classes at Missouri S&T is 7,022, according to Missouri S&T Registrar Deanne Jackson. This is an increase over last year's first day total of 6,971.
