GREENSBORO, North Carolina, Aug. 18 -- The city of Greensboro issued the following news:
The Greensboro City Council has approved changes to yard waste and loose leaf collection which are scheduled to begin March 2024. The policy shifts are more sustainable and are expected to improve safety for solid waste employees and reduce costs for contracted labor while maintaining efficient service for residents. The changes will save $10 million over the course of 15 years.
