N.J. U.S. Attorney: California Man Admits Selling Guns and Methamphetamine Over Internet

NEWARK, New Jersey, Aug. 16 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Philip R. Sellinger, issued the following news release on Aug. 15, 2023:

A California man today admitted conspiring to unlawfully sell firearms and methamphetamine via the internet, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

Angelo Chavez, 23, of Manteca, California, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Claire C. Cecchi to an information charging him with one count each of conspiracy . . .
