WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Aug. 11, 2023:
Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced $270,232 to College Now Greater Cleveland, Inc. to recruit and train 600 new volunteer mentors and develop additional training programs for volunteers who will mentor students working to attain post secondary education and degrees. Americorps awarded the investment through its fiscal year 2023 Volunteer Generation Fund.
