WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release on Aug. 10, 2023:
A Texas man was sentenced in the District of Columbia today on six offenses, including two felonies, committed during the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol breach. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.
