It had been about eight years since Meagan McIver had last seen a physics equation, and she will face a range of complex math and science when she enrolls this fall at George Washington University School of Nursing. McIver, who recently completed her service as a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman, decided to make up for the time gap in her studies -- and to prepare for her transition from soldier to student . . .
