BALTIMORE, Maryland, Aug. 10 -- The University System of Maryland issued the following news release on Aug. 9, 2023:

Jay A. Perman, chancellor of the University System of Maryland (USM) has appointed--and the USM Board of Regents has approved--the search and screening committee for the president of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), one of the university system's 12 institutions.
