WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Aug. 6, 2023:
Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries are leading a group of 24 House Democrats to Israel this week, the second trip Rep. Hoyer and Rep. Jeffries are taking to Israel in the 118th Congress.
While in Israel and the West Bank, the Members will hold high-level meetings with Israeli and Palestinian leaders, meet with various activists . . .
