JACKSONVILLE, Florida, July 28 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, Roger B. Handberg, issued the following news release:
United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Deconna Burke (34, Jacksonville) has pleaded guilty to wire fraud involving COVID Relief Fraud through the Paycheck Protection Program. Burke faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and payment of restitution to the United States government. No sentencing date has been set. . . .
