MANOA, Hawaii, July 28 -- The University of Hawaii Manoa campus issued the following news release:

Climate change and increased groundwater pumping are likely to decrease the abundance of limu palahalaha (Ulva sp.), a native and culturally important limu (native seaweed), and increase the habitat suitability of Hypnea musciformis, an invasive seaweed in coastal groundwater dependent ecosystems in Kona.
