WASHINGTON, July 28 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Massachusetts, issued the following news release:
Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) joined Senators Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Cory Booker (D-N.J.), and Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) in reintroducing a Senate Resolution to declare racism a public health crisis. Brown first introduced the legislation in July 2020, and reintroduced it again in April 2021 and December 2022.
