WASHINGTON, July 27 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on July 26, 2023:
Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that his bipartisan All-American Flag Act was passed on a bipartisan vote out of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. This bill would require the federal government to only buy flags completely produced and manufactured in the United States. The bill now heads to the full Senate for a vote.
