OMAHA, Nebraska, July 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Nebraska issued the following news release:
Acting United States Attorney Susan T. Lehr announced that Mohamed Gamar Ahmed, 20, of Grand Island, Nebraska, was sentenced on July 18, 2023, to 48 months' imprisonment for possession of cocaine and fentanyl with the intent to distribute, and to a consecutive 60-month term of imprisonment for possession of firearms in furtherance of that drug trafficking crime . . .
