WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on July 19, 2023:
U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA) announced $44,606,006 in federal funding for Virginia airports. Funds were made available through the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) FY 2023 Airport Improvement Program (AIP), which funds airport infrastructure projects such as runways, taxiways, airport signage, airport lighting, and airport markings.
