PHOENIX, Arizona, July 20 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the following news release:
Following a 60-day public comment period, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is listing the cactus ferruginous pygmy-owl as a threatened subspecies under the Endangered Species Act, along with a 4(d) rule that tailors protections for the owl.
