WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Rep. Kathy Manning, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release on July 18, 2023:

Today, Congresswoman Kathy Manning (NC-06) and Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger (TN-01) introduced the Patients Right to Shop Act, bipartisan legislation to prohibit 'gag clauses' in pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) contracts to ensure patients can conveniently access information on the cost of their prescription drugs.
