Rep. McCormick BANS China From Exploiting American AI

WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Rep. Rich McCormick, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on July 18, 2023:

Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) has co-authored the bipartisan "CLOUD AI Act," legislation preventing China from exploiting legal loopholes to use American-made Artificial Intelligence technology to strengthen its military. Fellow co-sponsors include Rep. Jeff Jackson (D-NC), Rep. Michael Lawler (R-NY), and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).
