Today, Congressman Greg Casar (D-Texas) and Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) introduced an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), giving the Department of Defense the authority to appropriate funds from programs or weapons that the department deems unnecessary to child care programs for military families, at their discretion.
