U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona: Man Sentenced for Conspiracy to Smuggle Firearms From United States

TUCSON, Arizona, June 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona issued the following news release:
Cesar Ignacio Perez-Barrios, 48, of Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico, was sentenced last week by United States District Judge Rosemary Marquez to 46 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Perez-Barrios also was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. Perez-Barrios pleaded guilty to Smuggling Goods from the United States.
