Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has awarded the City of Brownsville a $4,738,886 million federal grant through the Federal Transit Administration's Low-and No-Emission program to support the procurement of hybrid electric buses.
