WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on June 23, 2023:
Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) introduced a resolution today, on the 51st anniversary of Title IX, that affirms that the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) is subject to Title IX and must make every effort to prevent sex discrimination in its programs and activities.
