SALEM, Oregon, June 24 -- The Oregon State Legislature issued the following news release on June 23, 2023:

Today, the Oregon Senate passed two bipartisan bills to provide critical relief for crime victims in the state.

House Bill 2676 will make critical updates to the statute for Oregon's Crime Victims' Compensation Program that expands eligibility criteria and increases benefits for more Oregonians. These changes will make it easier for victims and survivors to access . . .
